Conducting webinars using Opera with a VPN enabled

If you regularly use the Opera browser, you may already know that it includes a built-in VPN feature.

Simple steps to enable WebRTC while using Opera's VPN



Open Opera's settings



Go to the "Privacy & Security" section



Find the "WebRTC" category



By default, the WebRTC settings appear like this when the VPN is on



Enable the top option in the WebRTC settings as recommended



Enter the meeting room as a moderator or presenter





Click the "Speak Now" button to begin sharing your webcam during the webinar



Follow these simple steps to stream your webcam during an online webinar using the top-tier MyOwnConference software, through the Opera browser with its built-in VPN enabled.

Easy steps to activate the DTS broadcasting plugin



Click on the blue VPN icon in the Opera address bar to view the VPN status



You should expect to see something similar of



At the top-left corner of the VPN status window, click the VPN settings icon



Navigate to "Manage additional VPN bypass rules" and click on it



Click the "Add" button to initiate a new bypass rule



Type add-on.mywebinar.io into the provided text box



Click "Add" again to save this new bypass rule



Verify your changes



Join the meeting room as either a moderator or a presenter





Press the "Speak Now" button to start sharing your webcam during the webinar
