Disabling exclusive mode in Windows
Third-party applications can interfere with MyOwnConference by using your audio playback and recording devices. Disabling exclusive mode can help resolve issues with voice chat.
Press the Windows+R keys.
In the Run dialog box, type mmsys.cpl and press Enter.
Right-click on your headphones or speakers and select Properties.
Open the Advanced tab.
Uncheck the option "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device".
Click Apply to save the changes.
Repeat these steps for your microphone.
