How to Start a Webinar?
Planning a webinar is the first step toward hosting a successful event. But naturally, many users ask:
What happens after the webinar is scheduled? How do you actually go live?
In this article, we’ll walk you through exactly how webinars start on our platform and what the host needs to do to begin the session.
Once you’ve created a webinar — whether it’s a one-time event, a scheduled calendar session, or a permanent webinar room — all you need to do to start it is open the host link.
This link is generated automatically and is available in the Links section for each webinar.
Every scheduled webinar appears in your calendar or room list. Next to the webinar name, you’ll see a three-dot icon, which opens the webinar’s context menu.
Click the three dots.

In the dropdown menu, select «Links».

Find the host link and click it.

Important: The host link provides access with management rights. Do not share it with attendees.
On our platform, there’s no «Start webinar» button — and that’s by design.
The webinar activates automatically as soon as at least one invited host enters the room. This can happen right at the scheduled time or even earlier.
If a host enters the room — the webinar is live.
If no host has joined yet, but attendees connect at the scheduled time — the room will appear empty, and they won’t hear or see anything until a host arrives.
This means the webinar start is entirely in the host’s hands: you can join early, get set up, upload your presentation, and be fully ready before participants begin arriving.
Because a webinar is a live event that begins the moment the host enters. This prevents someone from accidentally forgetting to hit «Start» and gives you full flexibility: join early, test your gear, and begin whenever you're ready.
