Still can’t enable WebRTC?
What is WebRTC and why do you need it?
WebRTC (Real-Time Communication) is a technology that enables audio and video transmission between browsers and mobile apps. If WebRTC is disabled in your browser, it won’t be able to send your microphone or camera feed. This means you won't be able to speak or appear on camera during a webinar or conference.
Usually, WebRTC is enabled by default, but some system administrators or browser extensions may block it.
Here's how to enable WebRTC in the most popular browsers.
How to enable WebRTC?
Google Chrome
Check if you have any extensions installed in Chrome that block WebRTC. These could include WebRTC Leak Prevent, WebRTC Control, Easy WebRTC Block, WebRTC Network Limiter, and others. Go to Menu → More tools → Extensions.

Locate and temporarily disable or remove any extensions that block WebRTC.

Opera
In Opera, WebRTC can be blocked either via extensions or browser settings.
Press Shift+Command+T to open the extensions list. Look for any containing “WebRTC” and disable or delete them.

To enable WebRTC via browser settings, click the icon in the top-right corner and activate WebRTC.

Microsoft Edge
Open your list of browser extensions.

Look for WebRTC-related add-ons and disable or remove them.

If WebRTC Control is already installed, just click the icon and toggle it on.

Safari
Hover over “Safari” in the top-left menu and choose “Preferences”.

Then go to the “Advanced” tab and enable “Show Develop menu in menu bar”.

Now open the “Develop” menu and activate WebRTC under “Experimental Features”.
Mozilla Firefox
In the address bar, type about:config and press Enter. Confirm the warning by clicking “Accept the Risk and Continue”.

Search for: media.peerconnection.enabled.

Click the toggle to set the value to true.

WebRTC is now enabled and you’re ready to go live.
What if you still can’t enable WebRTC?
If you’ve tried everything and WebRTC still doesn’t work, it may be blocked by your system admin or hidden among other plugins.
In such cases, you can use our alternative broadcasting technology, a special plugin available directly in the webinar room.
Summary
WebRTC is essential for presenters. If it's disabled on your device, follow our guide or contact support.
